Common washing machine faults we repair in Portsmouth

Here are some of the most common washing machine faults our engineers fix in Portsmouth:

  • Washing machine not turning on – A machine that won’t turn on can be as simple as a faulty plug socket or electrical system. However, there are other, more complicated reasons for this fault such as an overheated motor or sparked PCB (power control board).

  • Washing machine not spinning properly – A common explanation for this fault usually points towards a broken or loose belt. Although there can be something more serious such as faulty transmission, clutch, or drum rollers. Our expert engineers can quickly diagnose and repair this problem before it worsens.

  • Washing machine won't drain – A blocked drain pump or filter is usually the culprit for this. If routine maintenance doesn’t fix it, our team is ready to step in and repair it for you.

  • Washing machine door won’t open - When you’re faced with a washing machine that won’t open it can feel like you’re trying to open a bank vault. Fortunately, our engineers are skilled at resolving this issue, often with minimal fuss.
